Since 2020, Project Butterfly has remained committed to serving individuals and families facing hardship by providing essential resources, compassionate outreach, and a helping hand when it is needed most. We believe that access to basic hygiene products is about more than cleanliness—it is about dignity, confidence, personal well-being, and reminding every individual that they matter.

Through our Hygiene & Essentials Outreach Program, Project Butterfly distributes an average of 100 hygiene kits per event, helping community members access everyday necessities that may otherwise be difficult to afford or obtain. Each kit is thoughtfully assembled to provide practical personal-care essentials while offering a reminder that our community cares.

What’s Inside Our Hygiene Kits?

Our hygiene kits include a drawstring backpack filled with essential personal-care items, such as:

• Soap — for everyday cleansing and personal hygiene.
• Shampoo and conditioner — to support hair care and cleanliness.
• Washcloth — a reusable essential for daily bathing.
• Body lotion — to help maintain skin comfort and moisture.
• Razor and shaving cream — for personal grooming.
• Deodorant — to support daily freshness and confidence.
• Socks — to provide a basic clothing essential and everyday comfort.

These items are selected to address practical needs while helping individuals maintain a sense of comfort, self-care, and dignity.

Project Butterfly recognizes that small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference. By providing hygiene essentials directly to the community, we help reduce some of the everyday barriers faced by individuals experiencing homelessness, financial hardship, and other challenging circumstances.
